edge of the Subbetica Parque Nacional, 10 kms from Priego de Cordoba. El
Poleo is a picturesque village overlooking three sierras.

Granada,
Cordoba, Antequera are all within a hours drive and are full of Romano
and Moorish history which can seen in many of their old churches and buildings.
The Via Verde offers walkers and cyclists several routes along a distance
of 92 kms approximately. Priego de Cordoba is one of Andalucia's hidden
gems and can be found only 10 minutes drive away from El Poleo.
Also
to be found is an array of flowers, wildlife and birdlife including Griffon
Vultures, Hoopoe, Golden Eagles, Peregrine Falcons and multi coloured Bee
