The Idyllic Retreat - Rural Self-catering Villa

The house is built around a three-sided courtyard with Moorish fountain. There is a magnificent drawing room with huge sliding doors and three outside, partly covered terraces for outdoor dining and sunbathing.

The generously proportioned bedrooms have ceiling fans. The house is excellently equipped and furnished; also comprising a full range of terrace, pool and garden furniture. There is under floor heating.

Sleeps up to 10 persons.

Ground Floor

Entrance Hall, Cloakroom, Utility room with 2 washing machines and dryer. Spacious, modern, professionally equipped kitchen (large larder with food and drinks fridges) leading into the beamed dining room.

High ceiling Drawing room opening to partly covered large sitting and dining terrace with sink, chimney/ barbecue. Large Twin bedroom with adjoining bathroom with separate high powered shower.



First Floor Double Bedroom with bathroom and large secluded terrace. Twin Bedroom, bathroom with high-powered shower. Huge sun terrace with hammock. Master Suite Large double bedroom Dressing room. Upper twin bedroom. Marble bathroom, high powered shower, separate WC. Secluded terrace leading to pool.

The villa is tucked into the side of a hill just below the village of Gaucin, with amazing views to Gibraltar and Africa. Facing due south, steps from the full length wide terrace form an amphitheatre to the sloping garden and the pool area. Water from the cascade tumbles down a rock face into the 35m2 infinity pool which is surrounded by a sunbathing terrace and a covered patio.

Duration
For one week upwards, from Saturday pm until the following Saturday am. Sleeps 10 Persons - Rentals from one week upwards

Time of year
From end June until early September, during which period the house is usually rented together with the Cottage, La Bumba.

Staff
Cordon bleu cook, Maid service 25 hours per week, additional hours available on request, House Manager, Gardener.

Heating
Central heating will be switched on when necessary. Fire wood is supplied.

Laundry
Available on request, also allowing for frequent sheet changes

Facilities
Satellite TV wired throughout including video, CD player, fax and e-mail (Internet), WIFI Broadband.

Activities:

Tennis court, two infinity pools, two jacuzzis.
Mediterranean beaches within 30 mins and the splendid Atlantic coast within 75 minutes.
Malaga Airport 75 mins and Gibraltar less than 1 hour.
