Fuengirola's Feria and Fiesta del Rosario is held from the 6th to the 12th of October and features displays by horses as well as bullfights, flamenco dancing and other popular Spanish cultural activities.  On the 5th October 2006, preparations began in the Plaza de la Constitucion - silken flags were strewn across the plaza, and the church was decorated with hundreds of wonderful flowers. You can ride in a beautiful carriage drawn by horses through the town during the festivities.

On Saturday, everyone congregated in the plaza and Flamenco dancing began...  Throughout the streets of Fuengirola on Saturday, different scenes of festivity could be seen.

All week a wonderful fair (carnival) with many great rides and stalls, plus restaurants and bars, is available in the fairgrounds of Fuengirola.  If you are in the area, come and join in the fun!  Click to view the photos of the fairgrounds.
