The
LOS OLIVOS HOTEL is a lovely Andalusian house built in true local style.
It welcomes guests with its whitewashed walls, its yellow roof tiles, its
wrought iron railings on the windows, its arched balconies, the many different
plant pots containing geraniums on its sills and its indoors, full of details.
The
LOS OLIVES HOTEL has a 3 star rating and is located right in Arcos de la
Frontera town centre in the province of Cadiz. It is an old, typically
Andalusian-style house that was built in 1912 and adapted to become a hotel
in 1986. It was last refurbished in 2002. The hotel sleeps a total of 37
people. |

in true local style, it has whitewashed walls, wrought iron railings on
the windows, ochre-coloured roof tiles and a pretty central courtyard full
of plant pots and decorated with chairs and coffee tables. Guests are served
under palm trees and there is a lovely bar from where a stone well can
be seen.
The
hotel is in one of the most central streets of the city, on the main parallel
and only a few minutes' walk from its historic centre, declared a national
historic/artistic monument in 1962.

The
cosy rooms at LOS OLIVOS HOTEL also have a sunny atmosphere, combining
sofas, armchairs, jugs full of flowers, headboards, bedspreads, curtains
and rugs in different designs. The front 2 also have balconies with views
over crop fields and the olive groves that give the hotel its name.
The
rooms are distributed around the large central courtyard and some have
wonderful views of the Guadalete River basin. Of the 19 rooms, 2
are single and 17 double, all fully equipped with air conditioning, central
heating, television, direct line telephone, piped music, mini bar and full
ensuite bathroom with hairdryer. |

hotel also has 10 extra folding beds available at €18.00 each, as
well as cots.
Some
of the rooms are called with a different name paying homage to writers,
poets or cultural people and also to the Restaurant El Convento Chef.

Most
of the rooms have a beautiful view of the Guadalete River Valley and all
of them are very quiet. On the top of the building there is a terrace for
guests to admire the landscape and to sunbathe.
The
traditional town style has been maintained in each corner and room of the
