| Can Cruanyes
is a typical Catalonian farmhouse with its characteristic stone walls and
vaulted ceilings, located in a peaceful rural setting and set on 20 acres.
The house is situated within the heartland of the Catalonian region in northern Spain and is surrounded by the imposing peaks of the Pyrenees. |

The
farmhouse was recently renovated and now consists of three superbly furnished
apartments which exude comfort and relaxation. All apartments are self-catering
with laundry facilities and fully equipped kitchens.
You can chose from a one, two or three bed roomed apartments, depending on your needs. The one bed roomed apartment can accommodate up to three people. The two bed roomed will allow four people comfortably, while the three bed roomed will accommodate seven. |
| Children are welcome and a travel cot is provided for babies. For those with special needs, such as wheelchair access the three bed roomed apartment has been modified to cater for visitors with disabilities. |

The
immediate area is steeped in medieval history and atmosphere, and is littered
with villages boasting rambling, narrow streets, beautiful churches and
various bars and restaurants.
For the active person, there are a number of walks on your doorstep. Fortunately the whole region boasts a number of short and long distance treks depending on your abilities. |
| Can Cruanyes is ideally
situated to take advantage of a large number of outdoor activities, from
skiing to golfing. Whatever your tastes theres something for you.
Three golf courses that are within half an hours drive of Cruanyes
are Golf Girona, Torremirona and Golf de Pals.
Visitors wishing to indulge in winter sports can avail of two ski resorts. The two most convenient are Vallter 2000 and Vall de Nuria with Vallter being only 50 minutes drive from Can Cruanyes. Val de Nuria is situated in a beautiful valley in some of the most outstanding natural scenery in the Pyrenees. This resort offers activities all year round from skiing, horse riding, water sports and walking. |

Other activities that can
be enjoyed in this area are cycling, climbing, and paragliding.
The visitor wishing to relax on the beach will be spoilt for choice, there are numerous beaches dotted along the coast. The Costa Brava with its long sandy beaches is less than an hours drive from Can Cruanyes, The visitor to Can Cruanyes will be spoilt for choice in places to see and landscapes to experience. There are numerous villages set in outstanding scenery with histories stretching back to the middle ages and earlier including Girona (30 minutes drive from Can Cruanyes), Besalu, Castellfollit de la Roca Olot and Figueres (whose famous son Salvador Dali hails from). |
