Located within walking distance of the "Baños de Fortuna" famous for it's Thermal Waters. It's thermal and healing baths date back from Roman times.

When the sun comes out the urge to rush into a swimming pool is overwhelming, but most are too cold in the autumn and winter.

The Baños de Fortuna in Murcia Province has pools in which you can bathe all year long in warm healing waters.
Baños de Fortuna (literally the 'Baths of Fortune') is a dusty little village approximately one hour south of Alicante, 25 km inland from the city of Murcia.

Its waters arise from the earth at a temperature of 53 degrees Celsius; the pools at the Baños are kept at 36 Celsius.

The swimming pool guaranteed to give bathers that warm 'just-stepped-into-a-bath' kind of feeling.

As you leave the A7 motorway and head inland towards Baños de Fortuna. There is plenty to see in this region. Olive groves and vineyards can be found in the north around Yecla and Jumilla where you can sample this areas famous wine.

Murcia city has some fine architecture plus museums, shops bars and restaurants if you start to crave for the bright lights.
