The Hotel El Puerto is a sixteen storey modern resort complex with coastline views, situated right on the seafront in the centre of Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol.

The architecture of this hotel is fascinating - both interior and exterior.

This hotel features 300 guestrooms distributed between two blocks, one with eight floors and the other with 16. All rooms open onto furnished balconies, and come equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, and direct-dial phones.

	After breakfast, guests can head up to the 8th floor and spend the morning lounging around the circular rooftop pool, and enjoying panoramic views of the coastline. During the summer months there is a daytime activity programme for children aged 5-12 as well as evening entertainment for adults. There are two bars, including including the air-conditioned lobby lounge bar. Guests can also enjoy Mediterranean dishes at the buffet restaurant. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can provide information on attractions and activities available in the surrounding area.

The sandy beach is right outside the hotel and offers guests plenty of opportunities for sea swimming, sailing, snorkelling and windsurfing. There are also tennis courts, golf courses and an aqua park within six kilometres of the hotel. The famous Fuengirola Zoo is a few blocks away and you can also visit the Castle, with amazing views of the coastline. Stroll across the road to the working fishing port, or visit the marina with its yachts, bars and restaurants. Malaga airport is 29 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.

	Driving Directions Taxis are available outside the arrivals hall and a taxi to Fuengirola costs approximately 30 eur. A train runs from the airport on the w train to Malaga and then an e train goes to Fuengirola. The hotel is five minutes from the bus stop and the train station. There are also airport shuttle vans and tourist buses to the resorts. The town centre and beach are easily accessible on foot. A car is recommended to explore the surrounding areas.
