Casa Grande, a splendid 18th century mansion built in 1729, dominates the
views over a vast plain and the mountains of Sierra de Cadiz from its setting
at the cliff's edge in Arcos de la Frontera.

present owners have transformed this old palace into a quiet guest house,
maintaining all its personality and rustic spirit (original terracota floors,
ancient wooden beams, stone columns, hand-woven bedspreads and carpets
and whitewashed walls) without compromising in comfort (ensuite bathrooms,
air-conditioning, TV and phone).
From
the breathtaking terrace you will be able to indulge yourself in some of
their delicious homemade tapas and delicate wines from the land as you
look at the sandstone belltowers of Santa Mar'a while birds swirl at your
feet over the river Guadalete.
