Casa Grande, a splendid 18th century mansion built in 1729, dominates the
views over a vast plain and the mountains of Sierra de Cadiz from its setting
at the cliff's edge in Arcos de la Frontera.
Its present owners have transformed this old palace into a quiet guest house, maintaining all its personality and rustic spirit (original terracota floors, ancient wooden beams, stone columns, hand-woven bedspreads and carpets and whitewashed walls) without compromising in comfort (ensuite bathrooms, air-conditioning, TV and phone). |
