Apartments in a Traditional Village House
Living Room
Experience real Spain here in a traditional village house set among beautiful scenery and orange groves.

Algar is well placed for the beach and Valencia city but offers you the chance to explore more rural Spain and its wonderful people. Great for children, too, as the village has limited traffic, and the house is in a no through lane bursting with flowerpots and next to the main square. The children will love running wild and, if they need cooling down, the open air municipal swimming pool is 300 metres away, again very easy to access.

Terrace
The house has 2 apartments. The 1st floor apartment ( Apartment 1) has 2 double bedrooms, one of which has an 'alcoba', a traditional dressing room just before the bedroom and a single room.

The kitchen diner is spacious with a fully fitted kitchen, washing machine, fridge and a wood burning range for the cooler nights or just to create a romantic atmosphere! The kitchen leads on to the terrace which has a table and 4 chairs.

The shower room is modern and fully equipped. The lounge has 2 sofas, television and balcony which overlooks the lane.

Kitchen and dining
Kitchen
There are electric radiators in all rooms, and bedlinen/towels are provided.

The ground floor of the house has been tastefully renovated to give a communal space, with a billiard table, dart board, a library and bicycles for free use. It is also available to rent for small celebrations.

Apartment 1 is traditionally decorated in burgundies and golds, echoing the arabic roots of the house and the lane, being the oldest in the village. It has many original features, such as carved wooden doors, ornate fire surround, high ceilings with wooden beams.

The apartment has 2 double bedrooms and an extra room that could accommodation a 5th person. There is a quaint terrace leading out from the kitchen, and the living room has a balcony overlooking the lane.

Apartment 2: The second floor apartment is light and spacious, decorating in cooling mediterranean blues and whites. There are 2 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds.

The apartment has a large shower room with walk-in shower. For exclusive use of the second floor apartment only is the impressive covered terrace with breathtaking views over the village rooftops and orange groves.

Activities:
  • Beach 20 minutes
  • Valencia city 25 minutes
  • Very popular area for walkings, including the old mining route, La via minera, a level route passing through beautiful scenery and traditional unspoilt villages such as Sagunto, Jerica and Segorbe.
  • This is real Spain so don't forget your phrase book!
