Luis Houses, Albaicin, Granada - "La Grana"
| INTRODUCTION
& ENVIRONMENT
These
self-catering houses houses fulfill many peoples idea of the perfect place
to stay in Granada. They are located in San Luis street, in a very quiet
area at the top of the old part of town, where you can feel the essence
of the historic muslim quarter of Granada, the Albaicin, known for the
charm of its narrow pedestrian streets and little squares.
Both
houses are built in a rustic style and make up together a “Carmen”, the
Albaicin’s typical house with its own private garden, where fruit trees
and roses grow and from where you can enjoy privileged sights of the Alhambra,
Sierra Nevada and the Albaicin.

will have the feeling of being in the country although the houses are only
5 minutes walk to “Mirador de San Nicolas”, 15 to the very centre of Granada,
20 to the Alhambra and 10 to the Sacromonte.
There
are small shops nearby and little bars and restaurants in the maze like
cobblestone streets.

km to Sierra Nevada ski resort, 65 km to the beach and 60 km to “Las Alpujarras”. |

capacity: 8 people, although the house is best for groups up to 6

Rates
available on enquiry. For stays longer than a week, please request
budget.
POLICIES

Minimum
stay: 2 nights. On Spanish bank holidays you will have to reserve
the whole period.

Booking:
To make a reservation you will have to pay a 30% down payment in advance.
You will have to pay the rest on arrival, when a rental contract will be
signed. There is no refund of the deposit if you cancel. If you have to
cancel for reasons covered by your travel insurance we will provide you
with proof of payment so that you can make a claim.

Deposit:
On arrival a breakages/damage deposit of 100€ in cash will be taken.
You will be given a receipt. This money will be returned on leaving.

Check
in time: 5 pm. Check in time could be earlier if the house had been empty
the previous night.

Check
out time: 12 noon.

Arriving
explanations: once the reservation is done you will receive them by e-mail.

Traffic
restrictions: access by car to this area is restricted between 11 a.m.
and 2 p.m. and from 8 p.m. on. In those periods you will not be able to
reach the house by car, although you could do it to Placeta Cruz de Piedra,
only 100 meters from the house. Besides, a car is not needed when
you’re in Granada.
