Automobile Museum of Malaga

In the heart of the city of Málaga is a fascinating museum, dedicated to twentieth century art. And in this case, as stated by the museum itself, "the art is the automobile, in all its glory!"

The museum is housed in the "Tabacalera", a spectacular, former tobacco factory building dating back to 1923. The beautiful building lends itself perfectly to the display of the museum's very prestigious occupants.

Vehicles are grouped in thematic areas which describe the different styles of vehicles and how they have evolved in the twentieth century. Among the models represented are the following vehicles from all over the world: Hispano Suiza, Bugatti, Delage, Packard, Auburn, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Jaguar, Mercedes and Ferrari, among others.

There is also a unique fashionable space in the museum displaying an exhibition of vintage hats (Balenciaga, Schiaparelli, Givenchy, Balmain, Oleg Cassini, Dior, Chanel), and dotted around are some of the original leather luggage used in the various periods. The museum also hosts fashion shows on occasion.

The museum is a must on your visit to Málaga city!
