Porter is large resort by Menorcan standards, situated on the south coast
in a magnificent setting on the cliffs above an expansive, sandy beach.
The beach offers a large shore of soft sand, sheltered on three sides by
cliffs. Behind the beach is an area of marshland home to large community
of ducks. There are bars and restaurants at beach level, as well as sun
beds, umbrellas and pedaloes for hire. Up at the resort, there are
shops selling everything from freshly baked pastries to brightly coloured
